I was overjoyed when Hussein was captured, not when he died. Indeed, I wasn't particularly happy about him dying either, though I understood why.Jc_Freak:https://www.blogger.com/profile/14780031497091443526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5021346565171482910.post-84057831038862598412011-06-20T12:46:11.204-04:002011-06-20T12:46:11.204-04:00Considering I live in the tri-state area, I have n...Considering I live in the tri-state area, I have not seen a lot of evidence of people trying to make those who would celebrate feel guilty. To defend those who celebrate though, I really haven't seen that many celebrations that reveled in his death. It was a relief, it was closing a chapter. For many people it was theraputic as if they could let their loved ones now rest in peace. The celebration was the destruction, or at least a damaging blow, to what Bin Laden represented not really of the man himself.

I do have a question though, you said that you were overjoyed about Hussien. Why joy then and hesitation now?Anticipated Serendipityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04811224510476832369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5021346565171482910.post-89487549824034983902011-05-11T02:16:14.436-04:002011-05-11T02:16:14.436-04:00Makettles,

Like I said, it is important to be celebratory over a victory of this nature.Jc_Freak:https://www.blogger.com/profile/14780031497091443526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5021346565171482910.post-59745344744784629022011-05-10T21:00:15.231-04:002011-05-10T21:00:15.231-04:00I have issues with all the people who have jumped ...I have issues with all the people who have jumped up to criticize those who felt "joyful' at the news. I am willing to bet my arm, not one of them lost a loved one on 9/11 and not one of them ever would have prayed for his soul or tried to get the gospel to him ( OBL) . So where does this righteous feeling of creating guilt in the hearts of those who feel that justice has been meted out, come from!
PS: I am not an American, I was not in America when 9/11 happened. But was in a place where I saw people throw parties when the twin towers collapsed and being a minority could only silently watch it. I feel my pent up emotions of that day has finally been released.!Mary Abrahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06395229309917173939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5021346565171482910.post-1638451287455803332011-05-04T07:09:58.739-04:002011-05-04T07:09:58.739-04:00Well Doug Wilson is worth a read on this topic als...Well Doug Wilson is worth a read on this topic also: http://www.dougwils.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8626bethyadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08990677679970591625noreply@blogger.com
